Role DescriptionWe are looking for a hands‑on engineer to join our experienced team to assist with the design, build, and commissioning of water treatment and environmental remediation systems.
This is not a desk‑based consulting position. The successful candidate will spend significant time in the workshop and on site, working directly with artisans and contractors to physically build, install and commission the systems they help design.

What you’ll do- Work with our team in the design and build of water treatment and remediation systems (groundwater, wastewater, pump‑and‑treat, in‑situ and other environmental tech)
- Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, Control Narratives, System Layout Drawings and equipment specifications
- Be in the workshop and on site during construction and installation
- Work side‑by‑side with technicians, fitters and millwrights to construct, commission and maintain systems
- Lead commissioning, start‑up and troubleshooting
- Project Management, interaction with the Client, Team, and other Stakeholders
- Support and take an active role in Marketing and business development for the Environmental Remediation and Water Treatment services team.
- BEng / BSc Eng (Mechanical, Chemical Engineering preferred)
- Alternative qualifications with extensive, proven practical experience and applied knowledge will be considered
- 5+ years experience in water treatment or environmental and remediation engineering
- Proven hands‑on site experience — systems you designed must have been built and commissioned by you
- Experience with control systems and PLC programming will be advantageous
- ECSA registration (PrEng / Pr Tech Eng preferred)
- Experience in Health and Safety and working in controlled sites
- Drivers License

Location & travel- Based in Randburg
- Regular travel to project sites across Southern Africa and abroad
