Alaris Antennas is seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer:
Mechanical to lead technical excellence in our Mechanical Engineering discipline. This senior role is ideal for an accomplished engineer with deep technical expertise in structural design and a passion for innovation in the defence and aerospace sectors. As design authority within your field, you’ll guide the development of advanced antenna systems while combining strategic insight with hands‑on technical leadership and cross‑disciplinary collaboration.

If you have 10+ years of proven leadership, recognized expertise in structural mechanics, and familiarity with defence/aerospace standards, we’d love to hear from you.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, specialising in Mechanical/Structural Design

• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience with proven technical leadership

• Recognised subject matter expert in your discipline – e.g., structural mechanics
• Strong familiarity with defence and aerospace standards (MIL-STD, STANAG, IEC, ISO)

• MS Office (Proficient)

• MATLAB
• Python
• FEKO
• HFSS
• CST
• Similar simulation and analysis tools

• Act as the design authority for your discipline, leading complex system designs and ensuring technical excellence
• Guide and review design activities to ensure compliance, manufacturability, and performance integrity

• Provide technical mentorship and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation

• Support opportunity evaluation, feasibility studies, and bid development
• Collaborate with other Chief Engineers and executive leadership to align technical strategy with company objectives

• Drive research, process improvement, and intellectual property generation
