Solar Design Engineer needed – turn PV concepts into compliant, build-ready designs for C&I projects!
Duties & ResponsibilitiesA well-established player in the renewable energy space is looking for a Solar Design Engineer to support commercial and industrial solar projects. This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer who enjoys turning concepts into compliant, cost-effective solar designs.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Proven experience designing solar PV systems (commercial and/or industrial)
- Strong knowledge of PV layouts, system sizing, and electrical design
- Proficient in relevant design software and engineering tools
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Design and optimise solar PV systems from concept to implementation
- Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and documentation
- Support project teams with technical input and design validation
- Ensure compliance with local standards and regulations
- Collaborate with sales and project execution teams
