Junior Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Junior Engineer to support the Project Development department, reporting to the Project Engineer. The Junior Engineer shall support design & conceptualisation, tender processes for selecting technical advisors and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors, grid interconnection analyses, technical bid compilation and design optimisation analyses, for solar and wind farms in the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Programme (REIPPPP) and private sector.

The Junior Engineer shall also contribute to research for new technologies and markets.

Requirements

• Experience with relevant simulation and design programmes (PV
* Sol, PV Syst, WaSP, AutoCAD).

• Proficient in MS Word, MS Projects, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.

• Has Drivers’ License and own car.

• Detail-oriented and thorough.

• Self-started, ability to work under pressure.

• Strong verbal and written communication.
