Overview

Hire Resolve is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer based in Johannesburg (JHB) with valid PrEng and PRCPM designations.

The successful candidate will oversee a range of projects, including Roads and Stormwater, Water and Sewer, and Earthworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role is an excellent opportunity for professionals eager to lead and drive innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Provide technical expertise in the design and analysis of civil engineering systems.
  • Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national regulations and standards.
  • Perform site assessments and oversee project implementation.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, planners, and contractors.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and project documentation.
  • Mentor and oversee junior engineers and support staff.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (PrEng) and Professional Construction Project Manager (PRCPM) in South Africa.
  • Over 8 years of experience in Roads and Stormwater, Water and Sewer and Earthworks.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Proficient in engineering design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, .
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
