Our company is seeking a motivated Patent Attorney to support the protection and management of our growing intellectual property portfolio. This role is ideal for an early-career IP professional with a strong technical background and interest in innovation-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and assess patentable inventions
- Draft and file patent applications (local and international)
- Conduct prior art searches and IP research
- Assist with managing and maintaining the company’s patent portfolio
- Work closely with engineering and R&D teams on innovation protection
- Liaise with external patent counsel when required
- LLB or relevant legal qualification
- Registered Patent Attorney or in the process of qualifying (preferred)
- 5 – 8 years’ experience in patents/IP
- Technical Degree and background in engineering, mechanical, or electrical fields (advantageous)
- Strong analytical and legal writing skills
