SHEQ Manager

The SHEQ Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Develop and implement SHEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards.
• Lead investigations into incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on SHEQ standards and best practices.
• Monitor and report on SHEQ performance metrics to senior management.
• Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of continuous improvement in SHEQ practices.
• Ensure all documentation and records are up to date and in compliance with legal requirements.
• Stay informed of changes in legislation and industry standards relevant to the role.

A successful SHEQ Manager should have:

• A strong understanding of safety, health, environment, and quality standards within the industrial and manufacturing and production sectors.
• MUst be willing to travel in Johannesburg area
• manufacturing background
• Proven experience in developing and implementing SHEQ policies and procedures.
• Experience with ISO
  9001
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence and train teams.
• Competence in conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Relevant qualifications in SHEQ management or a related field.
• Ability to stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance.
