Structural Engineer

Introduction:

Our client, a respected consulting engineering firm, is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their Structures team in Illovo, Johannesburg. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with commercial building design experience to contribute to exciting structural projects while working within a collaborative professional environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to structural design, and support the successful delivery of commercial building projects.

• Deliver structural design solutions for commercial building projects.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Attend project meetings and contribute to technical discussions.
• Support project delivery from design through implementation.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation.

• BSc or BTech Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.

• Proficiency in Revit and Tekla.
• Commercial building design experience.
• Ability to attend project meetings and collaborate with professional teams.
• Strong communication skills.

• Strong structural engineering and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Revit and Tekla skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Collaborative and proactive approach.
