Senior PV Solar Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description

A large renewables company focusing on the C&I market with offices around the world is looking for a Senior PV Solar Electrical Design Engineer.

Minimum requirements:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering.

• 6+ years of demonstrated experience working as a Design Engineer in the solar industry.

• 8+ years’ experience in Solar PV/Industrial projects

• Previous experience in PV Power Plant Projects Execution and knowledge on mechanical installations essential.

• Awareness of cultural differences and varying legal/regulatory environments.

• Proficient in PVsyst and related solar performance modeling software.

• Hands-on an experience in MS Office, AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Sketch Up.

• Previous experience with HSE Regulations (Preferred)

• Be qualified for the local Grid Operator/Distribution Company contracting license (Preferred).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Full Understanding of Local Electrical Regulations

• Prepare drawings and set of documents required at proposal stage.

• Prepare detailed drawings at project stage.

• Perform compliance and quality control.
