About the Role

- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, including inspections, troubleshooting, and component replacements.
- Diagnose and rectify technical faults using specialized diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with aviation regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance performed on aircraft logbooks and company systems.
- Collaborate with flight crews and operations staff to ensure timely aircraft availability and address any arising technical issues promptly.
- Conduct routine checks and preventative maintenance to minimize the risk of component failure and ensure flight safety.
- Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license (e.g., CAAZ, EASA, FAA) with relevant ratings.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably on commercial or corporate aircraft.
- Strong understanding of aviation systems, structures, and engine mechanics.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent diagnostic, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adhere to strict safety protocols in Johannesburg .
