Process Engineer

Uyandiswa is seeking a Process Engineer to drive systems change and sustainable organisational development within our Organisational Effectiveness practice. You will analyse, redesign, and optimise business processes using Lean Six Sigma and related methodologies to improve efficiency and performance for our clients.

• Map and analyse current-state business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Design and implement optimised, future-state process solutions aligned to client objectives.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques to drive measurable process improvements.
• Develop process documentation, standard operating procedures, and control plans.
• Facilitate process improvement workshops and change initiatives with client teams.
• Track and report on process performance metrics to demonstrate improvement outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) required.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in process engineering, improvement, or optimisation roles.
• Experience conducting process mapping and root cause analysis.
• Exposure to Manufacturing, Energy, Financial Services, or Consumer Goods operating environments advantageous.
• Proficiency with process mapping tools (e.g. Visio, Bizagi).

• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across operational and management levels.
• Data-driven approach to identifying and validating improvement opportunities.
• Strong documentation and process design skills.
• Ability to drive sustainable change and embed new ways of working.
