Graduate Industrial Engineer; Aeroton

To support the optimization of manufacturing processes, supply chain planning, and resource utilization to enhance productivity while ensuring adherence to pharmaceutical standards such as GMP, SAHPRA guidelines, and ISO requirements. This position offers hands-on experience and professional development opportunities for recent engineering graduates.

• Assist in analysing production workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending efficiency improvements using tools like Lean Six Sigma, value stream mapping, and time-motion studies
• Support production planning by developing schedules, forecasting resource needs, and optimizing inventory levels to minimize waste and downtime
• Collect and analyse data on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle times, yield rates, and throughput to drive data-driven decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (eg, production, quality assurance, and logistics) to implement process enhancements and ensure seamless operations
• Conduct time studies, layout designs, and simulations for manufacturing lines, focusing on scalability and cost reduction
• Maintain compliance documentation, perform risk assessments, and contribute to continuous improvement projects (eg, Kaizen events)
• Generate reports and presentations on efficiency metrics for senior management

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field (recent graduate preferred)
