This is a contract role for a Graduate Engineer located in Pretoria office. The Graduate Engineer will be responsible for assisting with engineering projects, machine and process safety compliance and conducting technical tasks on-site.
Responsibilities- Follow industry regulations, safety standards (OSHA, ISO), and company policies
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in engineering processes
- Work with cross-functional teams (designers, project managers, technicians)
- Present findings to supervisors and stakeholders in meetings or reports
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices
- Pursue professional certifications (Engineer-in-Training/EIT, PMP, Agile)
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Engineering knowledge and technical skills
- Good general administration and IT skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail
