Job Description:
Design fire protection systems in line with SANS, ASIB, NFPA and FM standards Develop sprinkler, rational fire and smoke ventilation designs Apply SANS 10400-T , BS 7974 and relevant international standards Carry out ASET/RSET assessments and performance-based fire designs Produce drawings and designs using AutoCAD, Revit and FHC Canute Work across ECSA Stages 16 , including tenders, procurement and site inspections Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and provide technical support during construction
Skills & Experience:Minimum 3 5 years' of experience Strong knowledge of SANS standards , particularly SANS 10400-T Experience with sprinkler and fire protection design Knowledge of rational fire engineering and smoke ventilation Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit ; FHC Canute experience is advantageous HVAC experience would be an added advantage, but is not essential
Qualification:Degree/BTech in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field ECSA registration or eligibility for registration is advantageous
