About the Role
Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee key infrastructure projects in the Randburg area. This hybrid role demands a balance of strategic planning and oversight from a remote setting, combined with essential on-site management and client interaction. You will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the civil engineering project lifecycle, capable of navigating both remote coordination and on-site demands.
- Lead and manage all phases of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Oversee project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams through effective communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage responsibilities effectively in a hybrid work environment.
