Job DescriptionDraft detailed 3D models for secure data centre enclosures. Create accurate flat patterns for sheet metal laser cutting. Produce precise bending schedules for the workshop press brakes. Build comprehensive component assemblies using Autodesk Inventor software. Draw 2D layouts and general arrangements using AutoCAD. Maintain organized and updated bill of materials in Excel. Work closely with production teams to solve manufacturing challenges.
WhatYou Need to Apply
- A relevant drafting qualification or mechanical engineering diploma.
- Proven experience in precision sheet metal design and flat patterning.
- Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of press brake tooling and bending allowances.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Excel for material lists.
- Experience with Solid Works, Revit, or Sketch Up is an advantage.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and great team spirit.
