About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Telecommunications Engineer to join their innovative team based in Randburg . Key Responsibilities- Design, plan, and implement telecommunications network infrastructure, including voice, data, and video services.
- Analyze network performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and capacity.
- Develop technical specifications and project plans for new telecommunications deployments and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and service disruption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and vendors, to integrate telecommunications solutions.
- Research and evaluate new telecommunications technologies to enhance existing systems and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications engineering.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications principles, protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP), and equipment.
- Experience with network design tools and simulation software.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
