About the Role

Our client is looking for an accomplished Lead Civil Engineer to steer their projects and mentor their team in Randburg . This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing complex civil engineering undertakings from inception to completion. You will be instrumental in setting technical direction, ensuring project viability, and fostering a collaborative environment within the engineering department.

Working in a hybrid model , you'll have the opportunity to shape impactful infrastructure projects in the vibrant Gauteng province.

• Lead the design, planning, and implementation of major civil engineering projects.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers and technicians.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful outcomes.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to secure approvals and maintain relationships.
• Implement quality assurance protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is essential.
• Extensive experience in project management, contract administration, and risk assessment.
