Senior Civil Engineer - Urban Infrastructure Projects

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to contribute to significant urban infrastructure projects within Randburg and the greater Gauteng region. This role involves the design, planning, and management of complex civil engineering works, including roads, water systems, and public spaces. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality, sustainability, and safety of urban developments. • Lead the design and development of complex civil engineering projects, such as road networks, drainage systems, and public amenities.
• Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects in Randburg.
• Ensure all designs and construction adhere to relevant engineering standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Conduct site investigations and technical assessments to inform design and construction strategies.
• Provide expert technical advice and mentorship to junior engineering staff.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA or eligibility for registration.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on urban infrastructure.
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit).
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
