Our client is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to perform the calibration, testing, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of instrumentation and control equipment used within industrial and process environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing control valves, troubleshooting instrumentation faults, conducting calibration activities, and ensuring equipment operates according to the highest quality and performance standards. This role is ideal for a technically strong individual who enjoys fault-finding, hands-on work, and delivering reliable instrumentation solutions.

Education:

N6, National Diploma, Trade Test, or equivalent qualification in:

Instrumentation Electrical Engineering Electronic Engineering Process Control Mechatronics

Job Experience &

Skills Required:

Minimum 2-5 years' experience in industrial instrumentation, process control, or maintenance environments Strong understanding of instrumentation calibration and testing procedures Experience with control valves, actuators, and electronic positioners Knowledge of pressure, temperature, flow, and differential pressure measurement equipment Proven fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities Ability to interpret technical drawings and instrumentation documentation Strong attention to detail and quality control standards Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team

Duties & Responsibilities:

Disassemble, inspect, and overhaul control valve internals Assemble valve bodies, actuators, and associated control equipment Perform calibration, testing, and fault-finding on electronic valve positioners Conduct hydrostatic testing, seat leakage testing, final inspections, and quality control checks Perform circuit and electronic testing on flow measurement equipment Calibrate mass flow meters and volumetric flow meters Calibrate and troubleshoot temperature transmitters Perform testing and electronic repairs on temperature transmitter equipment Conduct static pressure testing and calibration of differential pressure transmitters Troubleshoot and repair differential pressure transmitter electronics Service, test, and maintain:

Pressure Switches Flow Switches Solenoid Valves Regulators Limit Switches Complete technical reports, calibration certificates, and service documentation Ensure all work complies with company quality and safety standards
