Mechanical Engineer - Industrial Machinery

Our client is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer with a focus on industrial machinery to join their operations in Randburg . This role is crucial for the design, development, modification, and troubleshooting of complex mechanical equipment used in various industrial applications. You will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of machinery, contributing directly to the company's operational success.

• Design and develop new industrial machinery and modify existing equipment to improve performance and efficiency.
• Create detailed CAD models , engineering drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for fabrication and assembly.
• Conduct stress analysis , dynamic analysis, and other simulations to ensure mechanical integrity and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical failures and operational issues on the production floor.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and maintenance teams to implement design improvements and ensure smooth integration of new machinery.
• Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations and industry standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a specialization in industrial machinery design or maintenance.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of machine design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems is a plus.
