Senior Industrial Engineer - Operations Efficiency

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Engineer dedicated to Operations Efficiency to join their team in Randburg . • Lead the analysis of current operational processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for strategic improvement through data-driven insights .
• Develop and implement comprehensive operational efficiency programs , leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies and other best practices.
• Manage and execute multiple process improvement projects simultaneously from conception to completion.
• Collaborate with departmental heads and cross-functional teams to ensure buy-in and successful integration of proposed changes.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks to monitor operational performance and measure the success of improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering department.

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering or operations management, with a strong focus on efficiency improvements.
• Proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt certification highly desirable) and other process optimization techniques.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale operational improvement projects .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
