Bridges and Structures Engineer

Our client is looking for a skilled Bridges and Structures Engineer to join their dynamic team in Randburg . This role involves the design, analysis, and assessment of bridges, flyovers, and other major structural components for transportation infrastructure projects. You will collaborate closely with design teams, contractors, and authorities to ensure the safety, longevity, and efficiency of these critical structures. • Perform detailed structural analysis and design for new bridge and highway structures.
• Conduct inspections and condition assessments of existing bridges and structures.
• Develop design concepts, calculations, and detailed drawings for structural elements.
• Ensure designs meet all relevant national and international structural codes and standards.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and contract documents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project development and execution.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in the design and analysis of bridges and transportation structures.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng) is required.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., MIDAS Civil, CSiBridge, SAP
  2000).
• Strong understanding of material behavior (concrete, steel) and construction methodologies for bridges.
