Senior Electrical Project Manager

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead significant electrical infrastructure projects from their base in Randburg . This role demands exceptional leadership, meticulous planning, and a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles within the construction and energy sectors. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while managing client expectations and project teams effectively in the competitive Gauteng market.

• Manage the full lifecycle of electrical projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, resource allocation, and timelines.
• Oversee project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and performance.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in electrical construction or energy projects.
• Professional certification such as PMP or Pr. Eng is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and project management best practices.
• Experience with contract negotiation and administration.
