The Water Resources Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting Suez South Africa’s mission to deliver sustainable water solutions. Reporting to the Head of Water Management, the analyst will conduct comprehensive hydrological assessments, develop water balance models, and provide data‑driven recommendations to optimize water distribution and treatment processes. - Conduct detailed water resource assessments, including surface water, groundwater, and stormwater analyses.
- Develop and calibrate hydrological models using software such as HEC‑RAS, SWAT, or MIKE SHE.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and external regulators.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and sustainability teams to integrate water data into project designs.
- Monitor water quality parameters and recommend mitigation strategies for contamination risks.
- Support the preparation of environmental impact assessments and water licensing applications.
