About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead critical infrastructure development projects in Randburg . This senior role involves comprehensive project lifecycle management, from conceptualization and feasibility studies through to design, construction, and handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a challenging and rewarding position for a seasoned professional looking to make a significant impact on major development initiatives in the Gauteng province and mentor a team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full project lifecycle for large-scale infrastructure developments, including planning, execution, and closure.
- Oversee project teams, including engineers, consultants, and contractors, ensuring effective collaboration.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant engineering standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Review designs, technical reports, and construction methodologies to ensure quality and feasibility.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is essential.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project engineering and management of infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects with significant budgets and timelines.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in project management methodologies and software.
