About the Role
Our client is seeking a results-oriented Industrial Engineer with a focus on Process Optimization to join their team in Randburg . This role is critical for enhancing the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing and operational processes. You will be responsible for analyzing existing systems, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing data-driven solutions to improve workflow, reduce costs, and increase output. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a proven ability to drive tangible improvements in a complex industrial environment, contributing to the company's strategic goals for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and map current operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Design, develop, and implement new processes and systems to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Utilize statistical analysis and modeling tools to measure process performance and identify trends.
- Lead projects aimed at improving workflow, throughput, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to ensure successful implementation of changes.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for optimized processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process optimization and industrial engineering.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and simulation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.
- Experience in a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities in Randburg .
