About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive Operations Efficiency Engineer to join their innovative team in Randburg. This hybrid role is designed to drive significant improvements in operational performance through the application of industrial engineering principles. You will be responsible for analyzing existing workflows, identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency, and implementing solutions that reduce costs and increase productivity. The position requires a blend of on-site engagement with operational teams and remote data analysis, contributing to the company's strategic goals within the dynamic Gauteng business landscape.

- Analyze current operational processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Design and optimize workflows, layouts, and resource allocation to maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and sustain process changes.
- Utilize data analytics and simulation tools to evaluate process performance and predict outcomes.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in operations analysis, process improvement, or industrial engineering.
- Demonstrated proficiency in lean Six Sigma principles and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data modeling and interpretation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and process simulation software is an advantage.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for managing change and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
