Financial Manager

A leading manufacturer in Boksburg serving the global textile industry is seeking a Financial Manager. The role oversees budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, cash flow, costing, and financial analysis to support business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within the manufacturing industry, and experience in managing complex costing structures such as Bill of Materials (BOM) and Work in Progress (WIP). Proficiency in Sage Evolution is essential ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the full finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize financial performance.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee costing processes, including BOM and WIP management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (SAICA/SAIPA advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a financial management role.
• Exposure to the manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
• Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM), Work in Progress (WIP), and costing processes.
• Proficiency in Sage Evolution is essential.
• Fluent in Afrikaans (Written and Spoken)
• Strong knowledge of Accounting standards and tax legislation.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience with B-BBEE compliance and reporting will be an advantageous

The salary bracket for the role is around R45k - R55k CTC p/m. Note that the offer will be a market related salary considering the candidate's qualifications, skills, and level of experience.
