GCO Partners is partnering with a UK-based firm to appoint an experienced Senior Tax Consultant to support a UK tax portfolio from Johannesburg. This is a delivery‑critical role requiring a minimum of 2–3 years UK tax experience (non‑negotiable). The successful candidate will operate as a direct extension of the UK tax team, delivering compliance and preparation work with minimal supervision.

This is not a training role. Immediate contribution in a UK tax environment is required.

• Manage a diverse UK tax portfolio
  , including individual and corporate clients
• Prepare and review UK tax computations and returns to a high technical standard
• Deliver end‑to‑end UK tax compliance and tax preparation services
• Liaise directly with HMRC on submissions, enquiries, and correspondence
• Ensure compliance with UK tax legislation, deadlines, and filing requirements
• Work closely with UK‑based managers and partners within a hybrid delivery model
• Maintain strong client relationships and manage multiple priorities effectively

• 2–3 years proven UK tax experience
• Hands‑on experience working directly with HMRC
