Role OverviewTo support our continued growth nationally and across Africa, we are seeking a motivated and growth‑oriented Associate Valuation Consultant to join our Sandton team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse valuation projects across multiple industries with a strong focus on financial reporting and insurance valuations. You will be part of a dynamic team supported by a major global organization with opportunities for career advancement and international exposure.

- Engage in valuation projects across the IMEA region supporting a variety of client needs.
- Work primarily on financial reporting and insurance valuations with no reliance on bank panels or mortgage valuations.
- Collaborate with a team of experts to maintain and enhance internal processes and procedures.
- Lead and contribute to asset‑related projects ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
- Develop and manage client relationships to support business renewal and identify new opportunities.
- Participate in local and international travel for project execution, client engagements and strategic initiatives.
- Manage project timelines and team coordination to meet client deadlines effectively.

- Undertake valuation assignments with team support ensuring accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
- Assist in refining and improving internal valuation methodologies and workflows.
- Lead valuation projects and asset‑related engagements managing scope, timelines and deliverables.
- Build and nurture client and internal stakeholder relationships to drive business growth and renewals.
- Enhance reporting quality and contribute to expanding service offerings.
- Travel locally and internationally as required to support project and client needs.
- Manage project teams and ensure effective communication and coordination.
- College or university diploma/degree with a major in valuations or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in plant and machinery valuations.
- ASA (Appraisal Standards Authority) valuation accreditation or equivalent.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Comfortable and proficient with technology and valuation‑related software solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated networking and business development capabilities.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in plant and machinery valuation or a closely related field.
