What you’ll do:

In this role, you act as the financial co‑pilot of the South African business, partnering closely with the Country Sales Manager (Emerging Market Zone) and senior stakeholders across functions. You are a core member of the local leadership team and a key link between Finance and the business.

You will elevate commercial decision‑making through insight, discipline, and forward‑looking analysis—while continuously improving how finance supports the organization.

Main missions:
Be a strategic finance partner
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the South Africa country leadership team
  • Co‑pilot country performance, driving profitable and sustainable growth
  • Provide real‑time financial guidance to support strategic and commercial decisions
  • Support pricing actions, commercial deals, and investment opportunities with strong financial insight
  • Assess and advise on business and financial risks, clearly communicating impact
Drive commercial insight & performance
  • Own margin, profitability, and performance analytics for the country
  • Deliver clear, value‑adding insights and commentary for monthly reporting
  • Lead finance input into annual profit plans and rolling forecasts
  • Perform pricing and project profitability analysis, including benchmarking and market assessments
Lead improvement & value creation
  • Build and develop a high‑performing, value‑focused finance team
  • Continuously improve processes, tools, and ways of working
  • Support SAP implementation and enhance data quality and business insights
  • Lead or contribute to strategic and ad‑hoc projects at country and zone level
  • Act as a board member of the local entity when required
What we're looking for Experience & education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 7–10 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering roles
  • Proven experience working closely with senior leadership in a commercial environment
Technical & analytical skills
  • Strong SAP expertise (minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience)
  • Data‑savvy with strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities
  • Solid understanding of pricing, margins, profitability, and forecasting
