You’ll be joining a high‑performance Actuarial unit within a dynamic Finance team. Expect a collaborative environment, a flat structure, and genuine ownership from day one. • Perform monthly reserving calculations including IBNR and OSCR.
• Support economic capital reporting.
• Conduct Actual vs Expected analyses to keep the portfolio razor sharp.

• Prepare quarterly PAA-based IFRS 17 workings and results.
• Perform eligibility assessments and onerous contract testing.

• Modernize and refine actuarial and IFRS 17 models.
• Build, improve, and automate workflows — efficiency is your playground.

• Deep dive into data to uncover trends, anomalies, and insights.
• Identify, resolve, and prevent data quality issues through smart controls.

• Maintain world‑class documentation for processes, models, and methodologies.

Ad-hoc analysis is part of the game — versatility is key.

• BSc/BCom in Actuarial Science (or equivalent).
• Nearly or newly qualified actuary (ASSA or equivalent).
• Bonus: FASSA, programming skills (VBA, R, Python), Power
  
  BI.

• 3+ years in actuarial or short‑term insurance environments.
• Strong data‑handling capability.
• Advantageous experience in:
  
  IFRS 17
• Reserving/Reporting
• Automation of actuarial/financial models
• Trade Credit or Guarantee environments

• Advanced Excel; SQL/Python/VBA beneficial.
• Exceptional analytical & problem‑solving ability.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Tech‑savvy, inquisitive, and always seeking better ways of doing things.
