Financial Manager - CA; SA

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Financial Manager to lead the daily financial operations of our business. Reporting directly to the CFO/FD and CEO, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding financial integrity, managing financial risks, and supporting strategic decisions that drive profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:

• Manage end-to-end accounting for all group entities
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
• Work closely with internal and external auditors on audits and reporting
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and broker commission payments
• Handle all SARS calculations and submissions (VAT, PAYE, Tax)
• Oversee daily payment runs and ensure smooth cash flow
• Prepare documentation for Board and committee meetings
• Support the CFO/FD in all regulatory and statutory reporting

Treasury & Risk Management:

• Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
• Ensure adequate insurance coverage and risk management practices

Leadership & Strategy:

• Play an active role in supporting strategic decision-making
• Provide ad hoc support on financial and operational tasks as required

Minimum Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant CA(SA) qualification with a valid SAICA certificate
• 3+ years post-qualification experience in a similar financial management role
• Strong working knowledge of financial regulations and standards
• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial software
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities
• Close attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to meet deadlines
• Capable of working well under pressure
