Our client is a leading asset management firm looking to recruit a high-potential, early-career Investment & Distribution Analyst. This role is ideal for a motivated investment professional looking to build a long-term career in investment distribution and client-facing investment solutions.
The successful candidate will gain broad exposure to discretionary investment management, portfolio construction, market research, and financial advisor engagement. Working closely with senior stakeholders, this role offers strong technical development combined with commercial exposure, with a clear growth path into an investment specialist or distribution-focused role.
Key Responsibilities Investment & Portfolio Support- Support discretionary investment solutions, model portfolios, and managed portfolio offerings
- Assist with portfolio performance monitoring, analysis, and reporting
- Develop a strong understanding of the client’s investment philosophy and solution design
- Support responses to advisor investment-related queries under senior guidance
- Assist with preparation and follow-up for financial advisor meetings
- Attend advisor meetings alongside senior team members to gain client exposure
- Track advisor engagement, solution adoption, and asset flows
- Support the execution of distribution initiatives and campaigns
- Conduct market, asset class, and competitor research
- Assist with preparation of investment insights and market commentary
- Stay informed on economic and regulatory developments impacting investments
- Support relationships with underlying investment platforms and managers
- Assist with information gathering and basic due diligence processes
- Help ensure alignment between portfolio solutions and investment positioning
- Support the development of advisor-facing and client-facing investment material
- Assist with preparation and delivery of advisor training sessions and workshops
- Ensure materials remain accurate, compliant, and up to date
- Support internal reporting on distribution activity and performance
- Assist with basic compliance documentation and administrative processes
- Contribute to management information used for internal and board reporting
Requirements
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Investments, or a related field
- CFA Level I completed or registered (CFA Level II advantageous)
- 0–3 years’ experience in asset management, wealth management, investment research, or advisory support
- Strong academic candidates with limited experience will also be considered
- Strong analytical and numerical ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong organisational capability
- Genuine interest in financial markets and investment solutions
- Commercial mindset with an interest in client engagement
- Professional, proactive, and eager to learn
