Reporting Specialist

This role sits at the center of group reporting, IFRS compliance and governance, and will suit a qualified CA(SA) who prefers depth over breadth. Someone who enjoys being the technical authority behind accurate, compliant and consistent financial information in a multinational environment.

You’ll work closely with finance and operational teams, providing technical guidance, ensuring reporting integrity and supporting continuous improvement across reporting frameworks.

• Act as the primary technical accounting and IFRS reference point within the business
• Prepare, review and validate financial reports in line with group and statutory requirements
• Ensure balance sheet integrity through detailed reviews, reconciliations and controls
• Oversee lease accounting, posting logic and general ledger structures
• Monitor and review cash management processes and financial controls
• Support taxation reporting and statutory compliance processes
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements
• Contribute to governance, risk management and internal control enhancements
• Support B-BBEE reporting and related compliance initiatives

• CA(SA) qualification (essential)
• 3–5 years’ experience, including articles
• Strong exposure to technical accounting and financial reporting
• Solid working knowledge of IFRS (non-negotiable)
• Experience in a multinational or large corporate environment advantageous
• SAP exposure beneficial
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable operating as a technical specialist rather than a generalist
