Requirements
- National Diploma / Degree (NQF 6/7) in Information Technology, Data Management, Statistics, or Health Sciences. 3–5 years’ experience in Health Information Management (DHIS, , HPRS). Certification in DHIS (District Health Information System) is typically required.
- System Maintenance:
Manage the implementation and maintenance of Health Information Systems (DHIS, ) at the facility/district level. Data Quality - Conduct data quality audits and validate routine health data (WebDHIS). Training:
Capacitate and train data capturers and facility managers on HIS policies and software. Policy Implementation - Ensure implementation of the District Health Management Information System (DHMIS) policy. Reporting - Generate pivot tables and routine reports for program managers (HIV, TB, Maternal Health) to track disease burdens.
