What you will do:The Pharmacy Operations Manager coordinates and is responsible for the daily activities of pharmacy staff, delegating assignments as necessary to maintain department productivity and achieve high quality pharmaceutical services. The pharmacy operations manager participates in the development of standard operating procedures, staff education, policy and procedure development, quality oversight, and compliance with all state, federal and regulatory agencies.

The pharmacy operations manager collaborates with other pharmacy leadership, staff, providers, administration, families and visitors to promote safe medication management. The pharmacy operations manager functions as a staff pharmacist when needed.
Required

Education:

Bachelor’s of Pharmacy Degree or PharmD
Preferred Education:Residency Trained, Advanced Degrees
Required Skills:
Adept at Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Required Licensure/Registration/Certification:Licensed Pharmacist with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Sterile IV Compounding Certification, advanced pharmacy certifications
Required Experience:Two years of hospital pharmacist experience
Preferred Experience:
Management experience IND
