Overview

Hire Resolve’s are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join their medical billing team as a Medical Billing Agent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately billing and collecting payments from patients and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient data capturin

Billing for a variety of Specialist Doctors, Allieds, GP’s

Have expert knowledge of charge codes and ICD
10 codes for all Specialist doctors, Allieds and GP’s

Billing optimisation

Understanding and adhering to the various medical aid agreements in terms of billing

Attention to detail and abide by each practice’s specific requirements

Handle billing queries

Double–check/audit billing

Record keeping of queries

Keep up to date with new billing rules in the industry by any means necessary.

Follow the SAMA billing guide

Receipting and distribution of billing (when the supervisor is on leave)

Excellent communication

Qualifications:

Minimum Matric

Basic and Intermediate ICD-10 coding

3 Years

Salary:

Salary for this position will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
