SAP EWM​/TM Product Delivery Lead – Extended Warehouse Management; EWM & TM

Purpose

My client is looking for a SAP EWM / TM Product Delivery Lead who is responsible for leading product development initiatives, managing end-to-end product life cycles, and ensuring that all products and tools support business objectives, regulatory requirements, and user needs. This individual will work closely with Warehousing, Transportation, Manufacturing and Finance teams, Technology partners, and Senior Management to build, refine, and scale EWM and TM products & processes that drive business efficiency, compliance, and revenue growth.

• Define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for EWM & TM that aligns with business goals and drive business value and growth. Leading the development and prioritisation of product initiatives based on business priorities, transportation and warehousing efficiencies, needs and analysis, market trends, value realisation and stakeholder input.
• Act as the primary liaison between transportation, warehousing, technology, operations, and executive teams to ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and resource allocation, updating on product development, performance metrics, and strategic impacts to senior management and stakeholders.
• Act as the owner of the Global Template for their respective functional area(s), whilst maintaining the highest level of standards for the design and delivery of new demand and capability.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, including ideation, design, development, testing, launch, adoption & support. Driving the creation of detailed product requirements, specifications, and documentation to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and user needs.
• Work with transportation and warehousing teams to ensure that key priorities are aligned with the overall company budget and business strategy, prioritising initiatives delivering the most value to the business.
• Establish key product and business metrics to understand product and business performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-informed decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of business analysts, functional experts and other relevant team members involved in product development. Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

• Proven track record and demonstrable experience in SAP design, build & test and deployment, having been involved in multiple full lifecycle implementations.
• Proven experience in delivering business transformation programs.
• Deep hands-on experience in SAP S/4
  
  HANA Extended Warehouse Management and Transportation Management Modules with demonstrable solution design and delivery.
• General SAP technical skills including up and down stream integration across connecting modules and products, for example but not limited to Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Transportation Management (TM) and Record To Report (RTR).
• Specific SAP S/4
  
  HANA process and configuration experience in EWM and TM processes, including:
• Pick, Pack, Ship
• HU Management
• Batch Management
• Inventory Management
• Transportation
• Charge Calculations
• Order and Shipment Integration
• Transportation Planning

• Ability to understand a wide range of disciplines in enough detail to communicate effectively with experts in those areas to enable delivery of E2E solutions designs.
• Proven track record of having designed and delivered end-to-end SAP solutions across multiple disciplines.
• Possess a solid understanding of AGILE development methodologies.
• Ability to understand, explain and present technical ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels up to senior management in a persuasive and convincing manner.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced international business and working with multi-cultural teams in different geographies.
• Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams and delivering outcomes with added value.
• Skilled in building strong external and internal strategic relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Takes the initiative to lead cross-functional and cross-stream topics, whilst driving these to a logical conclusion and arriving at the desired outcomes.
• Willing to step out of their comfort zone to represent the client or their colleagues in conversations requiring attention and direction.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and channels these via the appropriate forums and teams.
• Ability to assist and guide members of the Application Centre of Excellence, in resolving issues with permanent best-in-class solutions.
• SAP S/4
