Description

To effectively implement and monitor execution of the IT risk management programme across the Business Units and apply risk mitigation to support the business in achieving its strategies in accordance with Group IT risk governance requirements, design and build risk programmes that covers all related legislation.

The IT Risk Head, with the support of a dedicated team, will primarily focus on the R&C Chief Risk Office. The role will provide support and oversight to effectively drive strategic and IT risk program deliverables. This will involve ensuring that key stakeholders receive adequate support and guidance to maintain an effective risk management strategy and an acceptable risk profile.

Are you someone who can:

Demonstrate leadership behaviour through personal involvement, commitment and dedication in support of organisational values

Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership in area of expertise

Deploys integrated risk management, governance and compliance frameworks throughout area of responsibility

Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions

Draw up a budget aligned to tactical delivery plans to facilitate the provision of adequate financial resources

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

Minimum Qualification:

Honours degree or any postgraduate studies with Relevant certification/Degree in Information Technology, Auditing, Business Management/Operations, and/or Risk Management.

Preferred

Qualification:

Certification in any of the following: CA(SA), CIA, CRISC, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CRM Prac, CRM Prof will be ideal but not mandatory

Financial Services experience; FICA experience Technology and Fintech experience will be ideal but not mandatory

Min 5 to 8 years’ experience as an IT Risk Head
