What you will be doing:
  • Utilise Jira for task management, prioritisation, and team collaboration, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Offer guidance and support to junior analysts or members of the support team as necessary.
  • Present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Analyse large datasets, develop/maintain reports and dashboards, write/optimise SQL queries, data validation, and using BI/visualisation tools
    • What our client is looking for:
  • A relevant tertiary degree would be beneficial (Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.)
  • Strong combination of analytical capability, technical expertise, and communication skills.
  • Experience with data analysis & interpretation, data quality assessment & validation, data visualisation & storytelling, requirements gathering, analytical thinking, and understanding of data structures & models.
  • Experience analysing large datasets, developing/maintaining reports and dashboards, writing/optimising SQL queries, data validation, and using BI/visualisation tools (, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience collaborating on requirements, translating business questions, documenting data processes, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), identifying data issues, applying statistical techniques, and adhering to data governance.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation/BI tools (, Power BI, Yellowfin, Tableau) and task tracking/documentation tools (Jira and Confluence) is required.
