Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale enterprise data platforms
- Build and optimize data models and transformations in Amazon Redshift and PostgreSQL
- Ensure high data quality, accuracy, and consistency across banking data domains
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize query performance, data loading processes, and storage strategies
- Support regulatory, risk, compliance, and reporting use cases
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline and performance issues
- Adhere to data governance, security, and banking compliance standards
- 5+ years experience as a Data Engineer (financial services or banking preferred)
- Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio (GDE, Co>
Operating System, metadata, performance tuning) - Advanced expertise in Amazon Redshift and PostgreSQL (SQL, optimization, indexing, schema design)
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT patterns, and dimensional modeling
- Experience working with large, complex datasets in enterprise environments
- Familiarity with banking data domains (transactions, customers, risk, finance, compliance)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with AWS ecosystem (S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM)
- Exposure to data governance, lineage, and metadata management tools
- Knowledge of Python or shell scripting
- Experience in Agile / Dev Ops data environments
