Application Support Engineer

Please note: this is a Renewable Contract position

We’re looking for a highly reliable Application Support Engineer – RRR to provide end-to-end support for a time-critical RRR application developed using FEDM
. This role is essential to ensuring smooth operations in a Linux-based production environment
, with a strong focus on rapid issue resolution, data accuracy, and client communication.

You’ll act as the primary point of contact for application support, working closely with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, manage configurations, and maintain system stability in a 24×5

operational model
.

• Monitor, support, and resolve issues for the RRR / FEDM application running on Linux
• Ensure high availability and stability of a time-sensitive production system

• Operate and troubleshoot ETL jobs
  , scheduled loaders, and data pipelines
• Validate data flows to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Support and maintain custom reports and application configurations
• Understand reporting structures and environment-specific settings

• Work with statistical time series data and ensure accurate processing
• Apply and troubleshoot data validation frameworks
  , including Drools engine
• Use 4GL language knowledge to support investigation and troubleshooting
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents within strict timelines
• Document issues, fixes, and preventive actions

• Act as the primary interface for clients and internal stakeholders
• Provide timely updates, manage expectations, and handle support queries professionally

• Strong knowledge of FAME databases and time series concepts
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and MS SQL databases
  , including PL/SQL
• Working knowledge of Angular and Java technologies
• Proficiency in Linux administration (logs, services, shell scripting)
• Experience with ETL processes
  , batch jobs, and data validation
• Ability to understand statistical data models
  , forms, and reporting structures
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills for client-facing support roles

• Familiarity with custom reporting tools and BI configurations
• Experience in financial or statistical data environments
• Knowledge of secure deployments
