Role Description

We are searching for a Mid-Level IT Support Engineer for a full-time, on-site role at our client in Randburg Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the client employees, solving IT-related issues, and maintaining the health and security of systems. Daily tasks include troubleshooting, system administration, and aiding in the resolution of hardware and software concerns.

You will also manage help desk support requests and ensure the IT environment operates effectively and efficiently. You must be able to work independently and in a team, with excellent communication and time management skills.

Qualifications
  • Strong Technical Support and Information Technology skills
  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Knowledge and experience in System Administration
  • Experience in handling Help Desk Support queries and ensuring user satisfaction
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco) are advantageous
  • Previous experience in the Healthcare or Logistics sector is a plus
  • Experience with ticketing systems/helpdesk
  • Microsoft Office
    365
  • Virtualisation like Hyper‑V hosted and cloud solutions
