Application Support Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Application Support Engineer to provide end-to-end support for a business-critical application built on an Angular + Java technology stack. In this role, you’ll ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a Linux-based environment
, act as the primary point of contact for issue resolution, and work closely with clients and internal teams to keep systems running reliably.

• Monitor, support, and resolve issues for applications built on Angular + Java running in a Linux environment
• Ensure application availability, stability, and performance

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot ETL processes
  , scheduled loaders, and data pipelines
• Validate data accuracy and ensure reliable end-to‑end data flow

• Support and maintain custom reports and related application configurations
• Understand reporting structures and ensure consistency across environments

• Work with statistical forms data and ensure correct processing and reporting
• Develop a strong understanding of the underlying data domains and flows
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents within agreed timelines
• Document issues, resolutions, and preventive measures

• Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
• Provide timely updates, handle queries professionally, and support issue resolution discussions

• Strong knowledge of FAME databases and time series concepts
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle and PL/SQL
• Working knowledge of Angular and Java technologies
• Proficiency in Linux administration
  , including logs, services, and shell scripting
• Experience with ETL processes
  , data validation, and batch jobs
• Ability to understand statistical data models
  , forms, and reporting structures
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills for client‑facing interactions

• Familiarity with custom reporting tools and BI configurations
• Experience in financial or statistical data environments
• Exposure to secure deployments and compliance practices
• Prior experience in application implementation projects
