We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Ab Initio and Amazon Redshift / PostgreSQL to design, build, and optimize high-performance data solutions within the financial services and banking environment
. The ideal candidate is passionate about data integrity, scalability, and delivering trusted data for analytics, reporting, and regulatory needs.

• Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale enterprise data platforms
• Build and optimize data models and transformations in Amazon Redshift and PostgreSQL
• Ensure high data quality, accuracy, and consistency across banking data domains
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Optimize query performance, data loading processes, and storage strategies
• Support regulatory, risk, compliance, and reporting use cases
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline and performance issues
• Adhere to data governance, security, and banking compliance standards

• 5+ years experience as a Data Engineer (financial services or banking preferred)
• Strong hands‑on experience with Ab Initio (GDE, Co>
  
  Operating System, metadata, performance tuning)
• Advanced expertise in Amazon Redshift and Postgre
  
  SQL (SQL, optimization, indexing, schema design)
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT patterns, and dimensional modeling
• Experience working with large, complex datasets in enterprise environments
• Familiarity with banking data domains (transactions, customers, risk, finance, compliance)
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills

• Experience with AWS ecosystem (S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM)
• Exposure to data governance, lineage, and metadata management tools
• Knowledge of Python or shell scripting
