Data & Analytics Manager (Supply Chain & Logistics)

We are seeking an experienced Data & Analytics Manager to lead a Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence within a large, complex supply chain environment. This role plays a key part in driving the organisation’s journey toward becoming an insight-driven business, using data, analytics, and modern technologies to enable smarter decision-making and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the organisation’s data and analytics strategy aligned to long-term business objectives.
• Design, implement, and evolve a modern data & analytics technology stack, leveraging BI, cloud, and emerging technologies.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into value-adding analytics solutions.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Analytics Centre of Excellence, fostering a strong data-driven culture.
• Deliver self-service dashboards, reports, and insights that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Ensure strong data governance, security, and compliance, including adherence to PoPIA and GDPR.
• Drive agile delivery of analytics initiatives, ensuring quality, adoption, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Statistics - A postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
• 6+ years’ experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence - Supply chain experience is advantageous.
• Advanced expertise in SQL and BI tools (Power BI and Excel).
• Strong understanding of data management frameworks, data modelling, and analytics methodologies.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets across operational environments.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
