Technical Data Analyst

Are you a data-driven problem solver with strong modelling and Power BI skills? We’re looking for a Technical Data Analyst to help deliver an automated Project Cost Reporting solution for our Projects & Engineering (P&E) team.

In this role, you’ll work with SAP data stored in Azure Data Lake, model end-to-end reporting solutions, and build insightful Power BI dashboards that enable smarter business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop an automated Project Cost Report

• Perform data modelling, including updating models in SAP Power Designer

• Create KPI data models and overall conceptual designs

• Build Power BI reports (including Power Query & DAX)

• Develop test cases and perform QA testing

• Validate business data against source systems

• Advise on the structure of business views in Azure storage for reporting

• Collaborate in an Agile / Dev Ops environment

• Support CI/CD pipelines within the Azure technology stack

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst / Technical Data Analyst

• Strong SQL skills

• Solid Data Modelling experience

• Advanced Power BI development (Power Query & DAX)

• Experience working with Azure-based data platforms

• Understanding of Agile and Dev Ops methodologies

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
