We are now looking for a Mining Solutions Manager – Mine Planning (Open Pit) for our Software Solution Spry to join our team, based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and drive growth, innovation and client success.

In this role, you will blend technical mine planning expertise with a commercial edge, leading presales demos, supporting implementations, closing opportunities and ensuring clients get maximum value from our solutions. This is your chance to:

• Identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities
• Deliver technical presales activities, including tailored demonstrations and solution proposals.
• Build and support mine scheduling models during client engagements.
• Drive customer success, ensuring seamless adoption, renewals, and satisfaction.
• Provide insights to our product development teams to shape future innovations.

To succeed in this role, you will have hands‑on experience with mining scheduling software, a collaborative mindset and passion for helping mining companies embrace new technology. Other requirements are:

• Experience in selling mining software to the mining industry is a must.
• Min of 5 years’ experience in mine design, planning and scheduling in Soft Rock (Coal and Phosphate)
• Exposure to open pit mining environments.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Availability to travel within Africa and Middle East
